Very Late Easter Pics

Image
I'm so late in posting these, but better late than never.... check out our Easter "bonnets" First off, the Easter egg hunt at my sister Angie's neighborhood, - thanks for letting us tag along! Billy missed it because it was during tax season. :( Brooklyn was super excited. and so was Landon Then it was time to color eggs. Billy learned that if you use water instead of vinegar the colors aren't as good- next time listen to your wife! Billy is not drunk in this picture- just tired. Luckily the Easter bunny found our house. The kids had to wait upstairs while mom made sure he hidden the eggs - Whew! And the kids in their Sunday best, patiently looking into the sun while Mom snapped a quick picture before heading to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Easter dinner. The End

Landon 5 Months Old!

Image
Here is Landon's 5 month old pic. Isn't he a doll? Our photo shoot got cut a little short due to him being ready for a nap, the other two kids climbing on my back as I was down on the floor trying to get a good shot, my batteries dying- yeah, you get the idea. Yet this one turned out soo cute. He is such a smiley little guy and has discovered the joy of grabbing things and putting them into his mouth. He also loves to suck on his fingers and puts himself to sleep this way. I still wrap him up tight, just leaving that little hand out right next to his mouth. I don't want to jinxs him, but he's sleeping 10-13 hours at night. And yes, I know how lucky I am. He can "kind of " hold his bottle- which he loves to do- but he'll let you know loud and quickly when he drops it! He rarely cries- never really has much- unless he is tired. He is getting pretty sturdy and is able to sit in him Bumbo really well. He is a sweet, happy, silly little guy. We love...

End of Tax Season

Image
Yes, I know most of you dread tax day, but it is a great day for us!!! What to do on such a special day.....um....maybe relax a bit....how about a nice quiet drive.....maybe a movie...... or you can take the kids to the "happiest place on earth" or at least Boise right? And yes, we do have another child, and no we didn't forget him in the car. Landon decided he would rather take his nap at Grandma's than go see Chuckie. This is Brayden dancing to the Chuckie music....Yes, he's got my skills!

My budding artist...

Image
Brayden was really never one to sit still for any extended period of time, but lately, he has really started coloring and drawing. Maybe it is because he goes to a "school of the arts" magnet school. We certainly didn't send him there because of any signs that he was especially artistic, but it does teach keyboarding and art and I liked the environment there. It also helped that it is less than a mile away and most of his friends go there. When I came downstairs this day, he was drawing so intently that I had to grab my camera. I loved how he looked with the afternoon light shining on him, so still and serious. It is a part of Brayden that doesn't come out very often. What made it even better was when I saw that he was drawing a picture of me and him together. An educated artist might critique his work- maybe pointing out that the toes don't actually go up one's leg. And surely his mom's neck is not that large. And look how tiny the little boys h...
