Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas.

We had a wonderful Christmas in Lewisville with my family. There was lots of food- as always (thanks Mom), lots of games (I won Settlers!), lots of gifts (yea! I got a new digital camera), lots of kids (6 to be exact), lots of snow (we almost didn't make it to the movies) and many wonderful memories. The electricity went out Christmas eve just as we were going to read the Christmas story. So, we rounded up all the candles and read the Bible with a flashlight. It was very calm and was the perfect settting to remember the birth of our Savior. It might just become a new Christmas tradition.

Brooklyn loved the doll stroller that she got. Brayden's Christmas was basically a Star Wars festival! He got a couple of Star wars ships and figures and has been either Gen. Grievous or Luke Skywalker ever since. Billy got a new Ipod with the Nike+ system. It tracks your running and all kinds of stuff. And to top it off, I got a whale of a cold and cough from my dear dad! At least I didn't feel guilty when I took a nap today. Now it is time to pack up Christmas, which I am always eager to do. I love getting it all out, but after Christmas, I am ready to get my house back and declutter.

Thanks to all of you for your beautiful cards and letters. We love all our friends and family and enjoy this time to catch up with what everyone is doing.

Happy Holidays!

Two Totally Cute Things

Cute thing number 1

My little doll with blonde pigtails holding her little doll with blonde pigtails.

Cute thing number 2

This little christmas count-down thing I made for my sister. If you can't tell, they are little tins decorated and attached to a cookie sheet with magnets. You can put little candies inside as you count down to Christmas. It turned out so cute I want to make one for myself- well, maybe next year.

Smith Family Pictures

Here is our Smith crew! What a crazy bunch we are- or maybe a normal bunch and then crazy me. We have so much fun together. I feel so lucky to have great in-laws. They put up with me and my "fun" ideas.
