Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas.

We had a wonderful Christmas in Lewisville with my family. There was lots of food- as always (thanks Mom), lots of games (I won Settlers!), lots of gifts (yea! I got a new digital camera), lots of kids (6 to be exact), lots of snow (we almost didn't make it to the movies) and many wonderful memories. The electricity went out Christmas eve just as we were going to read the Christmas story. So, we rounded up all the candles and read the Bible with a flashlight. It was very calm and was the perfect settting to remember the birth of our Savior. It might just become a new Christmas tradition.

Brooklyn loved the doll stroller that she got. Brayden's Christmas was basically a Star Wars festival! He got a couple of Star wars ships and figures and has been either Gen. Grievous or Luke Skywalker ever since. Billy got a new Ipod with the Nike+ system. It tracks your running and all kinds of stuff. And to top it off, I got a whale of a cold and cough from my dear dad! At least I didn't feel guilty when I took a nap today. Now it is time to pack up Christmas, which I am always eager to do. I love getting it all out, but after Christmas, I am ready to get my house back and declutter.

Thanks to all of you for your beautiful cards and letters. We love all our friends and family and enjoy this time to catch up with what everyone is doing.

Happy Holidays!

My beatiful sisters...

Looks like so much fun! Reading the story by candlelight/flashlight would be cool. I'm sure Ethan will love to see Brayden's haul - he's already looking forward to the party. We'll see you then!

Megan, I'm jealous you spent Christmas in Lewisville and I missed you! We're heading up on New Year's day for the week. Maybe next time we'll meet up? Glad you had a merry Christmas!

Christmas at "home" is so fun. I loved hearing your Christmas traditions. Glad you enjoyed the ornaments, sorry I didn't get to say Merry Christmas in person. Also sorry to tell you that you have been tagged!
