The Great Pumpkin...Fieldtrip, that is!

Boy, it was cold and windy this morning as all the kindergartners from morning and afternoon headed out to Linder Farms for a fun fieldtrip of pumpkin picking! Notice how my scarf ended up around Brayden's neck? I must say he looks adorable.

We started out with the corn maze. I thought I had it figured out, until we ended up back at the entrance, but hey, the kids didn't care, so out we went the way we came.

Then it was time to pick our pumpkins- the only rules, the kids had to be able to carry them out. It was kind of funny that it was just the boys complaining about how heavy they were. Maybe it was that the girls didn't try to get the biggest pumpkins out there. Brayden found a beauty with a really cool stem.

Then, off we went on the hay ride to see the animals. They even had a camel and zebra!

Here are all the kiddos. Aren't they adorable? They were real troopers and enjoyed the adventure of it all.

Thanks to my mom that is in town for the week, for watching Brooklyn so I could go with Brayden's class.

Soccer- the End

Last Saturday was Brayden's last soccer game of the season. He really did great this year, and it was fun to see the improvement he's made just since last season. We were even able to celebrate some goals. He also played great defense- blocking lots of goals (he loves to play goalie- even though they don't have goalie at this level.) Great Job Buddy!!!!

Brayden was also great at cheering for his team- Go BLUE STRIKE!!!!!!!!!!

Better than Roses

When are Dandelions more beautiful than roses? When your sweet little one goes out to play in the backyard and comes back with a yellow bouquet especially for you!

Big Belly, Big Belly, Big Belly

My mom had this little onesie that she put each of us kids in. Printed on the front was...

World's Best Husband Award...

goes to my Billy!
He had been telling me for quite some time that I needed to back up my pictures and stuff onto our external hard drive. "Yeah, yeah, I know I need to...blah blah blah... " was always my thinking. It was one of those things that I had on my mental to-do list, but never really got around to doing. Well, about 2 weeks ago, I was upstairs and Billy brought up the external hard drive and said "HERE!" So, since I didn't have to get off my duff, I went ahead and backed up all my pictures and scrapbook pages that I had finished (which is hours upon hours of work). Well, guess what?! My computer's hard drive crashed on Friday!!!! I couldn't believe it. I've never had a computer crash- they've always just gone super slow until we can't stand it and then get a new one. So thanks to my hubby, something that would have been totally HORRIBLE and probably have given me a complete melt/breakdown, was just a pain and a little upsetting. I haven't lost anything that can't be replaced. I'm pretty bummed out because all of my scrapbooking supplies (digital ones that is) were on my computer and I didn't back those up. Billy is hoping they can be salvaged and has already ordered something to help us get to them and has ordered a new hard drive (a bigger one too!) He spent lots of time researching- figuring out what was wrong, getting a new hard drive and all that stuff. Thank you sweetie for saving the day (and my files)!!!

Oh, and that picture isn't of my laptop, thank goodness, but I needed a pic to go with my post!

4th File, 4th Picture

My friend Tovi tagged me... (she had the best picture)!!!

Go to your picture files, pick the 4th file, and the fourth picture in it and then tell a little bit about the picture.

This picture was scanned in, so the quality might not be that great. Here Billy and I are on our wedding day outside the Idaho Falls Temple. It was a beautiful day in May and the tulips were in bloom. It was such a great day, surrounded with friends and family, getting married to my sweatheart. Boy, we were both a lot skinnier back then (although right now I have a really good excuse) ha ha ha Billy, what's yours? Just kidding. Doesn't he look handsome though? I think in this picture we had just walked out the doors and were headed toward the temple lawn to get a bunch of group pictures. Billy, I love ya!

Okay Dokey, now I tag... jeez, I never know who to tag... Beth, Emily, Angie and Marnie and anyone else that has a good pic to share!
