Landon 5 Months Old!

Here is Landon's 5 month old pic. Isn't he a doll? Our photo shoot got cut a little short due to him being ready for a nap, the other two kids climbing on my back as I was down on the floor trying to get a good shot, my batteries dying- yeah, you get the idea. Yet this one turned out soo cute. He is such a smiley little guy and has discovered the joy of grabbing things and putting them into his mouth. He also loves to suck on his fingers and puts himself to sleep this way. I still wrap him up tight, just leaving that little hand out right next to his mouth. I don't want to jinxs him, but he's sleeping 10-13 hours at night. And yes, I know how lucky I am. He can "kind of " hold his bottle- which he loves to do- but he'll let you know loud and quickly when he drops it! He rarely cries- never really has much- unless he is tired. He is getting pretty sturdy and is able to sit in him Bumbo really well. He is a sweet, happy, silly little guy.
We love having Landon in our family- what was life like before him? I really don't remember :)

what a great shot and love the green shirt! i was reading my journal about maddy and at lexi's age she was sleeping 9 1/2 hrs...we are lucky if we get 4 or 5 usually 2 or 3. some kids are just better sleepers then others, I think it'll stay forever!

Mini-Marathon

Brayden's school does a "mini-marathon" each year.  During recess, some of the kids choose to run.  For each lap they do, they earn a punch on their cards.  Brayden ran 27.2 miles!!!!  He earned a cool medal and certificate. We were so proud of him. I forgot how long his hair was!  He decided last spring that he wanted to grow it out until school let out.

 ....you can't take the country out of the girl. My parents' have pretty much the coolest place to visit...well, besides the beach or Disneyland... so we always have fun going back home to the farm.  Grandma Marie Bramwell- 89 years old!  Double Rainbow! Sunset over the Snake River  The only reason he is wearing a helmet is because he had to for his scouting belt loop.  We had to fudge a little bit- it's his bike helmet.  Billy has learned a thing or two from me :)

Eight is Great

Brayden got to celebrate his birthday at the happiest place on earth...Chuck E. Cheese.  Yes, he really wanted a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party.  Not the kind where you show up and mom orders pizza and brings your presents in, but an actual Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party.  You know, the one where they set the table for you and you get an awesome blow up crown and Chuck E. comes out an entertains you.  I blame all the children that previously have had birthday parties there when we've shown up. Brayden did design his birthday cake.  Apparently he wasn't impressed with the giant cupcake one I made last time that tipped over.  I like doing it this way much better- so much easier.   He got to invite a few friends.  We missed a few that were sick or out of town.  Bummer.  I guess that's what happens when you have a December birthday.  The boys that did come were so much fun and full of all that boy humor- loud and silly.   We opene...
