Why I love my kids...

So, Brooklyn caught Brayden's cold and was up a lot the other night, which made for a very tired Mom. After I put Brooklyn down for her nap, I told Brayden that he needed to be very quiet for his "Quiet Time" and not to wake me up while I took a nap. Well, I actually got a little nap in, and as I was waking up I heard little footsteps running into my room and back out. A few minutes later, there were more little footsteps and I decided to really wake up and open my eyes. This is what I saw.

"Mommy, I made you some ships to help you feel better." I love my boy!

This evening as I was getting dinner ready, Brooklyn was needing attention. I stuck her on the counter while I cooked and talked to her. Well, as I had my back to her, she decided to feed our little goldfish, Jeffrey. What would a one year old feed a goldfish? Goldfish Crackers of course. I don't know if this makes him a fish-cannible or not, but he actually really liked them.

Brooklyn, I love you baby girl!

oh that is so funny. I love your kids. Brayden was sooo cute helping his mommy feel better. That just makes me laugh. It's like I can hear his little feet running nack and forth. And Brooky, I love her too...taking care of the goldfish and all. I didn't know his name was Jeffery. I miss Fiji moto.

I love hearing about you're kids. Maybe next time we get together, you can have Brayden teach my kids about "mommy time". They don't quite get it! Brooklyn is getting so big, I can't wait to see her again!
