Domestic Divas!

Check out this Girl Power! I found this faucet at Sam's club for a great deal and knew I had to have it. My old one is plain and boring and doesn't even have a sprayer. I knew with this one I could fill my sink with dirty dishes and still have room to rinse out a dirty sippy cup! But, Alas, this fair maiden's "handyman" is gone doing taxes all day and all night and doesn't have time to deal with a "honey do" item right now. What is a girl to do? Recuit a sister, and do it herself! Thanks to Jamie (Billy's sister) who is the queen of all projects both big and small, we were able to unhook the old faucet and install the new one with one hand practically tied behind our backs. Or maybe it just felt that way as we were squished up under the sink! I am soooo proud of us! No leaks either!

Very cool - I love it! And I'm super impressed that you installed in all by yourselves without a single leak. It's very classy. BTW, Brooklyn looks adorable as a super hero!

Wow, you better watch out or Billy will realize you can do more then you want! j/k I love the new faucet. I use to shop at Sam's but have converted to Costco. Do I need to go back?

Hey Meg! It's fun to find people in the blog world! I agree with Kenz, your family is so cute! We're coming to Boise this weekend, and I should have Billy do my taxes. It would be easy cause we practically don't make any money. :)

Mini-Marathon

Brayden's school does a "mini-marathon" each year.  During recess, some of the kids choose to run.  For each lap they do, they earn a punch on their cards.  Brayden ran 27.2 miles!!!!  He earned a cool medal and certificate. We were so proud of him. I forgot how long his hair was!  He decided last spring that he wanted to grow it out until school let out.

My parents' have pretty much the coolest place to visit...well, besides the beach or Disneyland... so we always have fun going back home to the farm.  Grandma Marie Bramwell- 89 years old!  Double Rainbow! Sunset over the Snake River  The only reason he is wearing a helmet is because he had to for his scouting belt loop.  We had to fudge a little bit- it's his bike helmet.  Billy has learned a thing or two from me :)

Eight is Great

Brayden got to celebrate his birthday at the happiest place on earth...Chuck E. Cheese.  Yes, he really wanted a Chuck E. Cheese birthday party.  Not the kind where you show up and mom orders pizza and brings your presents in, but an actual Chuck E. Cheese Birthday Party.  You know, the one where they set the table for you and you get an awesome blow up crown and Chuck E. comes out an entertains you.  I blame all the children that previously have had birthday parties there when we've shown up. Brayden did design his birthday cake.  Apparently he wasn't impressed with the giant cupcake one I made last time that tipped over.  I like doing it this way much better- so much easier.   He got to invite a few friends.  We missed a few that were sick or out of town.  Bummer.  I guess that's what happens when you have a December birthday.  The boys that did come were so much fun and full of all that boy humor- loud and silly.   We opene...
