Happy Cereal Day!

Did you know today is Happy Cereal Day-Let's commemorate the creation of Dr. Kellogg's famous Corn Flakes in 1897. Since cereal is a staple in our house, for everyone but me, it is a day we must celebrate! Our panty always has a shelf full of boxes, and usually some more stored up at the top. Brayden loves anything- cheerios, kix, marshmallow kind.... Brooklyn loves to raid the pantry for a mid-morning, mid-afternoon, mid-evening snack. It is not uncommon to see a box pulled out in the living room. Billy, well, let's just say its almost dessert for him since he has a bowl after almost every meal. So, thank you Dr. Kellogg from the bottom of our empty cereal boxes!

What a fun day - kind of ironic because yesterday I reorganized my pantry and threw out 5 cereal boxes that had less than one ziploc bag full of cereal in them. They were just taking up space. But I guess it shows how much we eat, too. Katie is a cereal queen! Those are cute pics!

Amen to loving cereal. It's the only reason I made it through the MTC...
